Integrated production
Integrated Production is based on the use of natural resources and regulating mechanisms to replace potentially polluting inputs. The agronomic preventive measures and biological/physical/chemical methods are carefully selected and balanced taking into account the protection of health of both farmers and consumers and of the environment.
Integrated production is regulated by the norm UNI 11233: 2009 Integrated production systems in agricultural food chains – General principles for design and implementation in vegetal food chains. This standard specifies the definition of integrated production and provides principles for design and implement an integrated production system in vegetal food chains.
Bioagricert supplies the certification to design and implement their integrated production system.
